Because of scheduling conflicts, I lucked into a vip ticket to An Evening With Darius Rucker, Singing the Songs of Frank Sinatra, a benefit concert for the MUSC Children’s Hospital Fund.

Free drinks & food, along with rubbing elbows with rich and famous people? Why the hell would I not go! With only a day’s notice, I was somehow able to pull together a fancy outfit.

I’m pretty sure we looked very awkward when we first walked it but it was awesome to see how well we fit in with the finer looking crowd. The concert was okay, not much of a Sinatra fan but I was a happy girl when Darius sang one or two of his own.

During intermission we noticed Bill Murray & Dan Marino! The funniest part of the night was when Darius was presented with the check of how much money was raised at the concert and MUSC made him an honorary doctor
